A supremely elegant female half-figure portrait forms the centrepiece of this immensely wearable pendant. Originally an elegant stick pin from the Art Nouveau period this was designed to take pride of place in the lapel of a jacket. Crafted out of 18ct yellow gold this beautiful jewel conveys the essence of naturalistic French Art Nouveau with the beautiful female half-figure holding Iris flowers. Hugely symbolic the iris flower was known to symbolise a range of different meanings from purity to wisdom. Expertly converted in the Pragnell workshops into a stylish pendant this has been paired with a simple 18ct yellow gold 46cm chain.
