British watch manufacturer Bremont celebrates its 10th limited edition design with a special ladies version. The Bremont Hawking Quantum watch for ladies is the first limited edition watch to be developed by the brand and comes dressed in Bremont’s first diamond decorated design. The watch, which celebrates the life and work of theoretical physicist, Professor Stephen Hawking, features a dial made completely from meteorite and a transparent caseback to expose a self winding movement. The modified calibre 11 1/2’’’ BE-92AV features a black hole inspired rotor which can be seen through a sapphire crystal glass caseback. The movement provides a useful 38 hour power reserve. This 34mm lady’s Bremont Hawking Quantum watch has been crafted from stainless steel and integrated with 50 meter water resistance. Its stainless steel link bracelet is designed to wrap effortlessly around the wrist, sealing with a refined folding clasp.

The meteorite dial symbolising the cosmos, of which Hawking created many of his ground breaking theories around, is equipped with polished nickel hands, a date window at 6 o’clock and scintillating diamond dot indexes. Its 34mm bezel is also set with diamonds, completing a luxurious finish. The timepiece which is limited to 88 pieces worldwide has its special number stamped upon the surface of an original piece of paper taken from a seminal research paper co written by Hawking in 1979. To finish, four pieces of an antique desk at which Hawking sat at to carry out some of his research, is inlaid into the case to commemorate the legacy he leaves behind.
