Appearing in three of Shakespeare’s plays (Henry IV, Henry V & The Merry Wives of Windsor) Sir John Falstaff is seen as a knight, companion and suitor. He has been depicted here in theatrical style intricate 15ct yellow gold armour with a period neck ruff. Stick pins were incredibly popular during the Victorian period (1837-1901) when they were used by elegant gentleman to secure neck cravats.
